The Cup Is Coming To California.
Before the season began, I predicted these teams in the final four: Buffalo, New Jersey, San Jose, and Anaheim. It's not looking good for me to go 4/4 right now, but I could get 3/4 and that's not bad for a pre-season pick.
I'm ready to say now that the Cup is finally, almost 40 years after hockey came to the Golden State, coming to California. I believe the Sharks will prevail over the Wings, and I believe that the winner of the Western Conference between San Jose and Anaheim will win the Cup. I've watched nearly every playoff game, and the two best teams so far have been those two.
So, to borrow from the Dead Kennedys: California Uber Alles!
